The 29-year-old singer and actress slammed a TikTok user who left a rude comment about her body on one of her recent videos. "What's going on with her?" they wrote. "Looks like she's going downhill but everyone in the comments is cheering her on?"
A fan account posted a screenshot of the comment, including 29-year-old Gomez's response. "Pretty sure I'm doing better than ever," she replied, "but thanks for pretending to care!" She then reminded these trolls, "B----, I am perfect the way I am." Playing Tyga's song "Rack City" in the background, she also mouthed the lyrics, "I'm a mothaf---in' star."
This isn't the only time the Only Murders In The Building star has recently sent a message to her critics. In an April 10 TikTok video, Gomez spoke about the body-shaming comments she's received. "So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich," she said. "But honestly, I don't care about my weight because people b---- about it anyway: 'You're too small.' 'You're too big.' 'That doesn't fit.' 'Meh meh meh meh.'"
Though Selena Gomez is only 30, she has said some profound things that you may be shocked to hear coming from a Millenial.
Selena Gomez is a Texas-born singer and actress who started her career at a young age by starring in the children's TV series Barney & Friends. Her real breakthrough was the leading role she played in Disney's 2007 series Wizards of Waverly Place.
In 2014, Gomez had been battling lupus, which became a matter of life and death, considering the long waiting lists for finding a donor. Along with the physical symptoms, the aggravation of the disease caused depression, panic attacks and eventually forced her to undergo a kidney transplant. Her friend, Francia Raisa, saved her life, as Selena was two weeks away from kidney failure.
