Picture this: It was a beautiful night in August of 2021. We were in Hermosa Beach celebrating my husband's 40th birthday with our best friends when all of the sudden I was slapped with handcuffs. (just kidding I wasn't put in cuffs but it sounds better)
It had been a great weekend, the first weekend we had been away from our toddler. We spent time at the beach, relaxing, eating, and drinking. The last night, we had dinner and then the restaurant turned into a club. We danced the night away. My girlfriend Allison and I stepped out to get some air and talk on the bench out front of the restaurant, next to the hostess stand when all of the sudden a police officer turned on his lights and came over to us and said I was getting a ticket for an open container.. this is not a thing in Las Vegas but he didn't care. I argued with him a bit after he wasn't being nice to me nothing was working. No, I wasn't arrested, but I may as well have been because he stole parts of my vacation time.
By the way, the bosses say that we are supposed to get 300 words on our posts and this is only 250. I don't care. Do you know why? I break rules.
