[Bruce Bennett] via Getty Images- Just yesterday NBC announced that Saturday Night Live's Kenan Thompson will host the 74th Emmy Awards. The broadcast airs live from the Microsoft Theater in LA on September 12. They will also live stream on Peacock for the first time. Going to award shows is so much fun but depending on the venue it's sometimes better to watch it at home. It's definitely geared towards the viewers from home. Johnny Carson hosted the show the most doing it 4 times. Jimmy Kimmel has hosted 3 times in the past 10 years.
- Tom Holland flew 4,350 miles from New York City to Budapest to visit Zendaya on the set of the new Dune sequel. Tom is filming a movie in New York City and took a commercial flight to see Zendaya because of the backlash against celebrities and their private jets. If you remember just a couple of weeks ago Kylie Jenner was under fire for polluting our skies by taking her plane 17 miles. Shortly after there was a flight list released of people that fly their private jets more than Kylie Jenner (rumored to be released by Kris Jenner) Taylor Swift, JayZ, ARod, Blake Shelton all flying more than Kylie. Looks like Tom is just trying to stay out of the drama.
- Justin Bieber says that he and his wife have a strict rule when it comes to arguments. Of course, they argue like everyone else but the rule is you can only bring things up in the argument that has something to do with the current argument. You can't bring up the past. They stick to that rule no matter what. I love that rule. My husband and I do that because in the past I would bring up things that happened in 2006 and the arguments would last for days. Since we argue less and we don't argue as long. Thank goodness. Leaves more time for wine!
