A Robot That Can Construct IKEA Furniture

Depending on who you are, you absolutely love or hate putting together IKEA furniture. If you find yourself in the latter group, we’ve got good news for you. Robots are being trained on how to assemble an IKEA chair. The two-armed robot, with the help of essentially a human puppeteer, can put together the chair pretty well, with the hope that it’ll potentially be able to do so without human intervention. We know that robots will end civilization, but if it can handle the allen wrenches for us in the meantime, it’s a fair trade off.

Pumpkin spice all the things. The lattes. The candles. The lip balm. The jelly beans. Fall is close enough, so now is the time! Well, Orange Theory Fitness is looking to get into the trend with a PSL class of their own. It’ll offer a “Press, Squats and Lunges” class, after which some studios will be offering a Pumpkin Spice Latte of their own. If working out is not your thing, you can get the latte only at your coffee shop of choice.

The dating world can be tough. Ask 31-year-old Kyle Gordy. The LA man is saying he’s been having trouble finding love because, in his words, ladies “don’t want a man who has kids with other women”. So, your next question, how many kids? How many women? Well, Kyle has been very unselfish with his “seed”, and has so far fathered 48 kids. He offers his service to people struggling to conceive, lesbian couples and single women looking to become parents. Oh, and he’s got another 10 on the way. For what it’s worth, the guy is pretty handsome. Plus, considering he’s offering up his service for free when sperm banks could charge about $1000 a vial, he’s not selfish. Just don’t expect to see him on Father’s Day.

Week 6 is in the books and the first person to take a sick day in the history of Aimee+Shawn is... Shawn. Strep throat had him out for two days and Aimee had the show solo to end the week. But... things DID happen on the show this week!
