Chances are you've seen the YouTube series Hot Ones from "First We Feast". It features their host, Sean Evans, eating the spiciest of wings with spicy celebrity guests. Have you ever watched, laughed, and rolled your eyes thinking you can do better? Shake Shack wants you to prove it.
The burger chain as teamed up with the YouTube phenomenon for a Hot Ones x Shake Shack collaboration. The items drop this Friday, September 16th (or now if you have the Shack App) and promises to challenge your taste buds.
Let's take a look at the menu...
Shake ShackHot Ones Burger
This 100% Angus beef burger has a special Hot Ones Spicy ShackSauce that will give your mouth a subtle slap. It features applewood smoked bacon, Monterey Jack cheese on that delicious Shake Shack toasted potato bun.
Shake ShackHot Ones Chicken
Prefer your spicy kick with poultry? This features the same crispy bacon, cheese and bun as the aforementioned burger, drizzled with the special edition Hot Ones Spicy ShackSauce.
Shake ShackHot Ones Cheese Fries
Those delicious crinkle-cut fries you love from ShakeShack. Drizzled with cheese sauce and sprinkled with Aleppo pepper for a nice and not-too-hot heat. Served with a side of Hot Ones Spicy ShackSauce.
Shake ShackHot Ones Bacon Cheese Fries
It's like the cheese fries, but with bacon.
All of the items are sure to give your brow a little bead of sweat. But for those who dare to dream (and maybe scream), you can purchase a "Last Dab" packet a la the YouTube series. The press release warns the sauce is "X-rated HOT". We are unsure if they know what that actually means.
The sauce contains the Apollo pepper which measures in at nearly 3,000,000 Scoville Units (approximately what it is like to lick the sun). Of course this is totally optional, chicken. The whole selection will be available at all valley ShakeShack locations.

Best Fries In Las Vegas For National French Fry Day
It's National French Fry Day on Wednesday! Crispy on the outside, mealy on the inside and fried to golden perfection.
French fries satisfy every facet of a junk food craving. Plus, it's the quintessential summer-time food because its available in every medium.
From being packed in buckets, loaded with toppings or served as a companion to other food, fries make everything better,
Personally, some of our favorite French fry variations include carne asada fries, "animal-style" fries, kimchi fries and French fries seasoned with furikake (a Japanese seasoning) and wasabi mayo!
The French fry has evolved in presentation and intent, which seemingly reflects the changes in our culture. As we've progressed in time, so has the variations of the French fry.
However, the story behind how and when the French fry was created is murky at best.
“The fry is a daughter of street cooking,” culinary historian Madeleine Ferrière told Le Monde. “That’s why it’s so hard to establish its birth certificate.”
The history behind the French fry remains uncertain because, "it’s hard to know whether written references to fried potatoes refer to deep-fried lengths of potato, or rather to rounds sautéed in a pan with butter," an article by the British Broadcast Channel states.
But in the 20th century, French fries appeared in writing in a Belgian guide called "The Traité d’économie domestique et d’hygiène (Treatise on Domestic Economy and Hygiene)," according to the BBC.
This was one of the first written records of French fries being mentioned. And although the origin of the French fry is disputed, we're just thankful that this delectable cuisine exists.
From being the perfect comfort food to also being the perfect pairing to luxurious steaks and more, we're writing this article as an ode to the lovely French fry.

From drippy barbecue ribs to light and fluffy crepes, the restaurant scene in Las Vegas offers food options for anyone and everyone.
University of Nevada, Las Vegas alumnus and restauranter, Guy Fieri, is known for making food feel welcomed in homes across America on the Food Network. His hosting skills have landed him on many different tv shows including the famous Diner's Drive-Ins And Dives. Fieri goes behind the scenes to eateries across the nation to taste test and get the origin story on why the locals keep coming back. Las Vegas restaurants have made not one, not two, but thirteen appearances on the show sharing the recipes, ingredients and must-try food plates. We are excited and proud to share with you restaurants that have made an impact not only in our community but across thousands of televisions across America.
We are sad to announce that two of the restaurants, Yayo Taco and Bachi Burger, that were featured on the show have been shut down permanently. Yayo Taco served street-style "fusion" tacos that left hungry fans wanting the recipe to their "Adobe Mole Sauce." Bachi Burger served Asian-style burgers which were rich in flavor profiles. The "Spicy Miso Burger" was a customer favorite.
Figuring out where to eat can be a challenge so we decided to make it easy for you. Instead of Google Mapping "restaurants" or "food near me" we put together a list of restaurants that were featured on Food Network's popular television show Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives.
