Tinder has got you covered with its latest launch – Tinder's Dating Dictionary designed to help adults navigate the wild and ever-changing world of Gen Z singles. From “Cushioning” to “Rizz,” here are some of the terms you need to know before you dive into the dating pool.
Cushioning: This term refers to keeping several backup relationships in case your main one doesn’t last. Cushioning can be done in a variety of ways, from texting other people behind your partner's back or simply having someone lined up as a potential next step if things don't work out.
Situationship: You know when you're not quite sure what label applies to your relationship? That's when you're in a situationship! It's that sticky in-between status when someone is more than a hookup but not quite a partner either. It can be hard to figure out where both parties stand and what kind of commitment they want, so tread carefully with this one.
Kitten Fishing: Kitten fishing is all about tweaking or embellishing certain aspects of your life and appearance to make yourself more appealing on dating apps. This could mean anything from airbrushing photos or exaggerating accomplishments - basically giving someone an impression that isn't entirely true. Don't do it! Honesty is always the best policy, even (or especially) when it comes to online dating.
Rizz: If someone calls you "rizz," consider it a compliment because it means they think you have an allure, that you're engaging and attractive, and overall just irresistible! So let them call you rizz if they feel like it – but remember that this term is used mostly in jest and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
With Tinder's Dating Dictionary now available for everyone's reference, Gen Z singles can finally rest easy knowing there's a handy guide for decoding their unique language! Whether you're new to online dating or have been around the block once or twice, this guide will help you in the modern dating scene. You're welcome!
The Best Cities To Meet Someone; Las Vegas Ranks Or Tanks
The best cities to meet someone. Las Vegas places on the list for dating.
Love is a sacred thing that we hope all get to experience at some point in their life. From a young age we witness and learn about love from our elders. We have seen love in different forms and the adventures that it can take people on. As we grow older we learn that love is important and that it's hard to survive without it. The world seems more bleak without a little flare of love.
Finding ones true love is for the fairytales. Or is not? We have seen or heard of the Disney movies that show happily ever afters and to tell you the truth it's possible to find that in real life.
What is "that" though? That is a relationship where you mesh easy with someone based on their personality, looks and overall connection. Dating apps have made it easier in the twenty-first century in finding our other half. So that we think. There are apps like Tinder and Bumble that generally show you photos of singles that are in your local area. The tiring "swipe right" only does so well until you run out of potentials in your area.
Our friends at Shane Co, conducted a survey on the best places in the U.S. for a Meet-Cute. What is a meet-cute? ShaneCo.com states, "In a movie, a meet-cute is a scene where two people who have a romantic future together interact with each other for the first time, usually under quirky or unusual circumstances." So if you're out and about look around as your other half could be a lot closer than you think.
Below you will find some of the best cities to meet someone in. Surprisingly, even with Las Vegas growing over 2 million residents and with an influx of tourists on the daily a shot of love still exists.
The data was concluded off of 14 factors in relation to meeting someone unexpectedly. The analysis sought categories like:

The Best Rom Coms Of All Time
It’s time for rom-coms to shine again. As this list of the best romantic comedies ever proves, the death of the genre is just not true. Yes, rom-coms have lost in popularity since their 1990s heyday—but even as time passes, audiences are hungry as ever for banter, meet-cutes, and happy endings.
Which got me thinking: what are the best romantic comedies of all time?
The Princess Bride (1987) is one of my favorite rom-coms of all time! It may not be your typical love story, but The Princess Bride is a classic that is as much about true love as it is about adventure and swordplay. Though it was a box office disappointment in its day, The Princess Bride has gone on to become a cult classic—proof that when it comes to timelessness, nothing beats true love! "As you wishhh!" (If you know, you know.)
Notting Hill (1999) The pairing of Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant made Notting Hill one of the most beloved romantic comedies ever made. When you think 90s Rom-Coms you think of Julia Roberts! Its mix of humor and heart will make you laugh out loud while reminding you why we all need a little bit of love!
When Harry Met Sally (1989) Another classic starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan has become a benchmark for modern love stories. When Harry Met Sally follows two New Yorkers who don't believe in love at first sight... until they realize they've been wrong all along! With its iconic scenes—like the famous Katz’s Deli scene (once again, if you know you know) and its endearing characters, this movie has earned its place among the greatest romantic comedies ever made.
Romance may come in many forms but there’s nothing quite like the kind we find between two people on screen in some of Hollywood’s best romantic comedies. Whether it’s adventure or comedy or just plain old swooning over one another – there's something special about witnessing true love unfold before our eyes on-screen.
From classics like The Princess Bride to modern favorites like When Harry Met Sally narrowing it down to my top 10 was hard but I gave it a whirl.
