Touch-A-Truck Event To Benefit Local Las Vegas Nonprofit

Think back to when you were a kid... Do you remember how cool fire trucks and police cars seemed? Or how badly you wanted to climb aboard a big, yellow school bus or a massive bulldozer? While many things have changed over the years, children's fascination with these special vehicles has not faltered, and the return of the annual Touch-A-Truck event will allow children to fulfill these dreams to the benefit of a local nonprofit here in Las Vegas.

Family to Family Connection has announced that it will be hosting it's 17th annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, April 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the grass at Downtown Summerlin. The event will allow kids of all ages to experience some of their favorite special vehicles up-close, even allowing them to climb onboard and sit in their seats. The event acts as a great learning opportunity for young children's with a passion and interest in these vehicles, as well as serving as a fabulous opportunity to support a local nonprofit in the community. It's a win win!

According to News 3, "The hands-on experience will offer access to more than 60 vehicles, including fire engines, construction trucks, police cars, and school buses, also allowing those sensitive to loud noise to get in on the fun with a horn-free hour from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m."

The local Las Vegas nonprofit, Family to Family Connection, is a nonprofit primarily focused on providing resources to families in Las Vegas through parent education, early childhood development classes, and community networking. There are a couple options for purchasing tickets for the annual Touch-A-Truck event. Those who plan to attend can purchase their tickets at the door for $12, or you can purchase your tickets online ahead of time for only $8 (children under two get into the event free).
