Las Vegas is known for entertainment in music and shows but not necessarily in the animal captivity area. There was a Zoo in Las Vegas years ago that was shut down on September 20th, 2013 after there were many complaints about animal cruelty and the USDA came in and shut them down.

Sea Quest is an interactive aquarium located in Las Vegas inside the Boulevard Mall off Maryland Parkway. It has found itself under controversy in Las Vegas because of allegations of animal cruelty and mistreatment.
