Fall is here, maybe not necessarily in Las Vegas weather-wise, but Halloween is just a couple of weeks away. Time to get the decorations out to get in the spirit. I am more of a straight fall decorator and skip the Halloween part. I don't skimp on the number of pumpkins I use all over the house. My husband says he can sit in any area of the house and see at least 20 pumpkins surrounding him.
You can never have too many pumpkins.
I have a problem every year: I feel like I lose some things yearly. (Either that or my husband throws them away on me. The jury is still out)
This year I couldn't find my centerpiece to put on my island so I had to run to the store to find a replacement one. I should have known that 99% of the fall decor in all stores has already been replaced by Christmas trees and decorations. It's too early!!!
So I was forced to do a DIY and I am not good at DIY but this was really easy. I ran to the Dollar Store and bought the pumpkins they had left in the fall area. A glass vase there as well and some mini branch-looking thing that I found in the flower section.
They didn't have anything that I could put the pumpkins in so I ran next door to TJ Max to see if they had anything and I found a wooden platter? Tray? Whatever you would call it for just $5.99 and I already had my glue gun at home (if you don't they are very inexpensive you can get them anywhere if you don't have one)
That is all I had to buy to go home for a cheap, quick, and easy DIY centerpiece to add to my fall decorations.
Check out the final product! Let me know what you think!

13 Hottest ‘Halloween Ends’ Looks From The Premiere
Today (October 14) is the theatrical premiere and Peacock streaming premiere of David Gordon Green's Halloween Ends. After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off for the last time against the masked killer Michael Myers. Four years after her last encounter with Michael Myers, Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and trying to finish her memoir. Myers hasn't been seen in a long time, and Laurie finally decides to liberate herself from rage and fear and embrace life. However, when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) stands accused of murdering a boy that he was babysitting... the story takes a turn.
"Scream queen" Curtis has portrayed Laurie, on and off, for more than four decades now. That's one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. Curtis first took on the role of Laurie in 1978 with John Carpenter's Halloween. When the franchise relaunched under director David Gordon Green in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.
Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape. Watch the final trailer below:
