The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards are here and I am actually excited about it this year! They are airing on NBC at 8:00pm EST you can also stream on Peacock.

I never enjoyed watching the Emmys because I never watched any of the shows that were nominated. I have now chalked that up to having a very poor choice in television.

The Kardashians, Teen Mom OG, and MTV's The Challenge weren't accepting any awards.

But the older I get I try to watch the shows that are winning Emmys and it has worked out for me the past few years.

One of my most favorite shows of all time is Yellowstone. I was watching the Emmys last year waiting to see my show win all of the awards. But they didn't. Succession beat them out on a few of the awards so I decided that I was going to watch the show and now that's right up there in my top 10 shows. They have the most nominations this year with 25 and another one of the shows I watch, Ted Laso, is right behind them with 20.

Turns out that I watch six of the eight nominated shows for Outstanding Drama Series.

Can't wait to see which awards my shows take home!

Check out a list of nominations below.
