Happy National Son Day To Aimee’s Boys
When I found out I was pregnant I never knew how much I wanted to be a mom. I also never knew how much I wanted to be a boy…
When I found out I was pregnant I never knew how much I wanted to be a mom. I also never knew how much I wanted to be a boy mom. When we found out Jayden was going to be a boy I was so excited I could hardly wait for all of the cars and trucks he would play with and the sports I would get to watch him play. It's one of my most favorite things to do in the world, is to watch him play sports.
I am a boy mom through and through so when we found out we were pregnant for Roman, 11 years later, the only thing I knew how to do was be a boy mom. It was my lucky day when I found out our second was going to be a boy too!
"Boy Mom - it's an experience, not a description."

Boys are sweet, they are kind, and they are our protectors. Boys are also dirty, and messy, and sometimes they stink. But they are our best friends the friends we didn't necessarily know we needed.
It brings me to tears thinking about raising these little boys to become men. The kind of men that don't need us. The kind of men that will provide for, and take care of their own families one day. I'm going to miss it when they need me. Everyone tells me to cherish these moments when there are six 14 year old boys messing up my house, stinking up my bathroom, and eating me out of my house and home... and I do. I embrace every single one of those moments because I know they won't last forever.
I'm blessed to be a mom. I am even more blessed to be a boy mom.
