Here’s What You Missed On Aimee+Shawn This Week

It's a new year and, frankly, we were not ready to come back. But here we are! Aimee+Shawn came back for a short week and while they were sleep deprived, they were not without plenty of stories.

First, the big story: Shawn look a HARD FALL on the first day of vacation. Seriously, look below! Doctors say he is fine, so for once it benefitted him to have an abnormally large (and hard) head!

With the new year comes "new years resolutions", the bane of many an existence. Aimee is planning on having a dry January... after her birthday weekend coming up. Meanwhile Shawn, who usually avoids the premise, really wants to make it a point to get healthy. So much so that he did sit ups on the show. Well... not sit ups more than using his arms to swing his body forward. That's not how you do it, Shawn.

There was something in the air on Tuesday night because come Wednesday, both Aimee and Shawn came into the studio absolutely exhausted. Neither could sleep overnight for whatever reason. Our listeners give us some advice to go help us go to sleep easier... nearly all of which were hilarious.

Aimee is pretty disappointed in this season of Yellowstone. So much so that she had to make her voice heard. Season 5? A stinker. Ever dedicate hours of your life to a show that inevitably disappoints you in its mediocre endings? We talk about our biggest disappointments.

Aim is also trying to turn over a new leaf in 2023. Get her act together. So she joined a "wellness support group" of sorts. She's off to a great start... she totally forgot to dial in on the first day. The rest of the group? They rallied to help her.

Also on Thursday, LoriAnn Mans joined us. She is a psychic and medium that is part of The Palms' "Brunched By An Angel" and she joined us to give Aimee a birthday reading! What does she think of Aimee's relationship with her son going forward? What about the direction of the show?!

Then we wrapped up the week with a myriad of stuff. Aimee's mom is into Sake Bombs now. Shawn's wife is already planning events for next Christmas. Plus... we revisit AI Story Time with two amazing ideas plucked from thin air!

Aimee's son Jayden got up and gave her a huge hug for her birthday... and proceeded to pass out.

Much like a thumb war, it must be declared before the games begin. Roman doesn't know this yet.
