Here’s What You Missed On Aimee+Shawn This Week

It's a "We Are The Champions" edition of Aimee+Shawn and our best of the week! It's so much easier watching recaps like this when you know the Vegas Golden Knights won the damn thing... because we were petrified of jinxing the team at every twist and turn.

The week started with the wondering of whether or not we should head to Toshiba Plaza to watch game 5. Sure, it'll be an amazing moment if they win. But the crowds, the traffic, waking up the next day. We had all the excuses. Turns out we didn't go... and we should have.

Game 4, Aimee went to Las Vegas Ballpark to watch the boys win on the road. She ordered drinks for herself and her friends... and was accused of cutting in line by a woman in a bucket hat. Not the line to buy the drinks. The "line" to get them. She was just...waiting for them to call her name. Interesting right?

When the Knights won the entire thing, we were elated! Shawn went in and played a party mix the night of... and the next day we basked in the afterglow. This is more than a Stanley Cup to this city.

Shawn was in need of some caffeine on the way into work this week, and he stopped into a convenience store on the way. As soon as he walked in, the clerk decided to unload on him and let Shawn know how much her boss sucked and her job sucks. He somehow found solace in knowing that someone can be as annoyed at life as he was. He doesn't know her name. But he feels like he knows her.

Shawn witnessed potentially the most unfortunately custom bumper sticker ever. How can one man be so, so wrong?

People are planning on gathering at Toshiba Plaza for game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. Do you go... or do you watch at home?

They were on, then they were off, then they were on, then they were off, then he got in a terrible accident and now they are on again. What a love story.

In what could be the dumbest argument ever, a woman accused Aimee of cutting in a line that didn't exist.

Try getting to Vdara via self park. Just try. Shawn did and it took him an hour.

We really have no explanation for this segment. Aimee laments the loss of the zebra... who are still around.

Aimee's son Jayden said what we are all thinking...

OH MY GOODNESS THEY WON! Can you believe it! The Vegas Golden Knights took the damn thing!

For people outside of Las Vegas, it's just a sports story. For people in the valley, it means a whole lot more.

We need to appreciate what just happened. The Stanley Cup is not just "hard" to win. It is the hardest professional championship to win for a reason.

Aimee+Shawn were appalled when a radio DJ volunteered her voice to train an AI to replace her... and everyone in the industry. Thankfully... her AI sounds disinteresting, congested, and would get ripped in a meeting with her (its?) boss.

There is something so cute and amazing about getting your kids into music that pre-dates them. Both Aimee and Shawn do this with their kids, and they know a wide array of music because of it.

Shawn just wanted an energy drink. But he got a whole lot more when he walked into a local convenience store.

Sometimes businesses screw up, and rarely do they lay on the sword as fast as this guy did. We are impressed!
